Titanite Petrochronology Study (Magmatic system)
In this section, introduce titanite study in a little bit more detail. But not in that many details (they can refer to the paper online directly).
What could be covered are as follows:
1) Research location.
2) What we did: chemical (EPMA & LA) and isotopic analyses on contrasting titanite zonations. Figures could include a few U-Pb ages, a few profile analysis (EPMA should be enough), the Zr-thermometers figure.
3) Conclusions: two magma source mixing (hotter REE-rich, Fe-rich magma with colder REE-poor, Fe-poor magma), referred to by composition change and temperature change. Multiple pulses mixing present. Archean and juvenile crust melting is present.
