High spatial resolution EPMA minor and trace element analyses on accessory minerals
In this section, introduce two major parts, one is EPMA minor and trace analyses on accessory minerals, including monazite chemical dating, and zircon/quartz Ti analyses. Signify the importance of these analyses.
Figures could include 1) precision of the data (detection limits), 2) accuracy of the data, including both monazite and zircon; and the background modeling; 3) spatial resolution under high beam conditions.
The second part would be olivine part (see subsection below): first need to introduce significance of olivine geochemistry; then introduce the precision and accuracy of olivine data. Figures could be on overall data accuracy, maybe add a few comments on some minerals that need to be specifically taken care of, such as Co (which has Fe interference), Al, Ti, etc.
